Sarah migrated from Nebraska to join Grass, Coffey & Scharlau in 2004 after spending four years in public accounting in the agricultural sector. She has several years of public accounting experience in financial reporting including audits, reviews, agreed upon procedures and compilations. Her main areas of expertise are combined and consolidated entities, non-profit entities, construction, and manufacturing clients. Sarah also consults with small businesses to improve their internal control structure and accounting policies.
In 2014, Sarah became a shareholder and strives to provide timely and reliable personal service to clients while protecting their best interests. As a young businesswoman she enjoys helping new entrepreneurs plan, prepare and execute their dreams into a successful reality.

Sarah and her son, Sean, live in Apache Junction with her bearded dragon Fred. As a true Nebraskan she loves football and enjoys boating, hiking, skydiving & four wheeling. When forced indoors Sarah enjoys the fine arts and history.
